Saturday, 23rd Sep 2017 - Huddlesford Heritage Gathering

The 7th biennial Huddlesford Heritage Gathering, held on September 23rd and 24th, was the biggest and best yet. The event featured historic boats, floating traders, classic cars and vehicles, plus numerous other exhibitors and displays in the arena. There was live entertainment laid on on both days, and the Club bar and tea tent provided refreshment throughout the weekend. The event was opened by Michael Fabricant, MP for Lichfield, and was also attended by Richard Parry, the CRT Chief Executive.
The weather remained largely fine on the Saturday, if a bit overcast, and improved again on the Sunday, leading to record crowds, with some estimates putting the attendance at over 6,000.
